Just got a central order for Necromancer’s Betrayal with Waterstone’s. Gotta luv ‘em. Still, they made plenty of mulah from book one, so they’d be silly not to go with it. Just gotta crack Borders (takes time) and the near-impossible WHSmith now.

Metaphysical fantasy literature on Wikipedia

Now here’s a mark of ‘having arrived’. Metaphysical fantasy literature now has a definition in Wikipedia, and it borrows nearly its entire definition from this site!!!

Just finished writing chapter 2 of Necromancer’s Fall, Book Three of the Flesh & Bone Trilogy. Poor old Mordius.

Still waiting for my first copy of Necromancer’s Betrayal to arrive from the muppet publishers.

My insurance company won’t pay a single penny to replace my kitchen roof, which fell in a few weeks back. F*scists.

Well, chapter 2 of book 3 is ticking along, but I’m having to write it while I fix the flat roof on the extension. It is bulging alarmingly and there’s water coming through. Yikes. And they reckon we have 40 days of rain coming cos it rained on 15 July (St Swithan’s Day). Sh*t. I’m hoping Dave the plumber/builder who lives opposite can help me out. Otherwise, book 3 will be a very damp affair.

The publisher says Necromancer’s Betrayal will be available through their book site (www.authorhouse.co.uk) in a couple of days. It’ll then take a week or two to get on the big sites: Amazon, Waterstone’s, WHSmith, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Foyles, etc. I’ll then have to get it into physical stores. And then the round of signings up and down the country starts once more.

I’m cream-crackered.

Necromancer’s Betrayal is a go!

Yippee! Just approved the amends to the cover of book 2. It’s now ready to go into production. Hurrah! There might be a few days delay for lodging copies with various libraries to ensure copyright, etc, but it’ll be up on Amazon, etc, within a week, I hope. Thank **** for that. It’s been a long haul, but I like the final look of the book.

Better get on with book 3, eh?
